The Famish Vol.1 | Download Here

Shavone C. is undeniably the West Coast's worst kept, lyrical weapon of mass destruction. Straight out of Southern California she has drive, motivation, and bars. She is a college student, a poet, a journalist, and a lyrical prodigy. From day one artists and musicians like Michael Jackson, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Bach, Tupac Shakur, MC Lyte, Queen latifah, Lauryn Hill, Fabolous, Juelz Santana, and Biggie have set the undefeatable standards for this powerful young black woman and musician. Her love for music runs deeper than just being a lyricist, playing the flute and trumpet catalyzed her musical interests and mind set. She looks for many forms of exposure and continues to do shows every where, including her home town San Diego and her college campus, California’s newest built UC, the University of California, Merced. The 19 year old recording artist has been featured and reviewed in " The San Diego Reader" magazine for being selected to showcase her music on the "Best of San Diego Artists music Compilation" hosted by Jake Records. From performing at the San Diego 4th & B opening for Zapp and Rob Base , fundraisers, talent shows, college campuses, and night clubs Shavone C. fights tirelessly to be heard. Being a young Black Woman, she stands up for women in the music industry, showing the power, class, and creativity of the female lyricist. From doing many poetry shows, and spoken word contests, the power of hope for a REAL female lyricist is still alive and pumping with the heart of hip hop, and soul of a revolutionary mind-set. Growing up in a very esteemed household on the black side of San Diego, California, Shavone C. understands the hood but also embraces aspiring a better life. Hip-hop is her soul, music her heart, and writing the veins that connect it all. Look out for Shavone C. on the up and come up. The West Coast is back, but this time with the super-weapon of versatile originality, SHE IS Shavone C. Shavone C. in the San Diego Reader====> Here

Ramone Johnson...

.... Or better known as Cashi$ is back! Even though he originally came from Chicago, Cashis decided that the best way to pursue his career as a rapper was by moving to Orange County, leaving the Windy City for sunny California with high school friend and producer Rikanatti. After releasing a series of successful mixtapes (including one that was recorded while Cashis was on bail awaiting trial for a crime he was eventually sent to jail for) and becoming one of the most popular O.C. MCs, gutter-style rapper Cashis was signed to Eminem's Shady Records (an Interscope imprint) and released his first single shortly after.

Dreams ... True Colors

Everyone has them. Even if they seem to far fetch to grasp, we still have them on instant replay in the back of our minds. At times it seems like my dreams are only a arms reach from holding on too. Then there are times where I feel like it's only a dream... Some of my best songs I write come from so many situations that happened in my life and honestly I don't think some people understand WHY I make the music that I do. Why im not sleeping in the studio just recording music to be recording. Reason is because I treat it like a craft. A craft is something you work on getting better at but you don't strive for quantity when dealing with it, you work for quality. This next mixtape (album) whatever you want to call it is really showing a side of Essay Real that will further help you understand my dream. It's almost like "Back To Space" was the alarm clock .. and now that you are awake its my job to bring "True Colors" to life. Even though it's tough trying to be successful at something that so many people are racing with you and against you (had to throw that in there...) I still maintain to keep God first & Man second. With that mentality I can't lose and will never be upset at the outcome of it all. I can't believe that its' going on 10 years of me rapping and recording music. Some may say im crazy, some may say ill give it up soon .. and even though you saying that weighs on me heavily, I won't let it stop me. I will make this more than a dream ...
